Draconian - A Rose For Apocalypse

Draconian, one of the coolest gothic doom metal bands at the moment just released their latest
album called "A Rose For Apocalypse" recorded at Fascination Street Studios, the same studio
previously used by bands like Katatonia, Opeth or Paradise Lost.
I really liked the album, you should definitively check it out.

extremely low budget, but the song totally kicks ass.

POET vs. ASP.NET

.
Thai Duong and Juliano Rizzo presented in the latest Ekoparty a tool called POET
(Padding Oracle Exploit Tool ) that allows a user to decrypt and forge cookies, that
could lead to an information disclosure or a full system compromise as you will be
able to see in the following video.




In this video we show how to use POET to attack the latest version of ASP.NET. The
target application is DotNetNuke. The attack consists of two phases:

1. In the first phase, we use POET to extract DotNetNuke's secret keys, and use
those keys to generate a cookie to login as a super user. The same technique can be
used to attack _every_ ASP.NET application.

2. In the second phase, we use Cesar Cerrudo's Token Kidnapping attack to gain
SYSTEM privilege on the Windows server hosting DotNetNuke.

They are called Veil Veil Vanish and are the new Indie promise from San Francisco.
Their debut album, "Change in the Neon Light", was released by Metropolis records, its a
great album, you definitively should check it out.

to our freedoms.
Even though NRA secured a court order demanding their immediate and unconditional return,
almost every single confiscated firearm remains locked in government trailers.

With the stroke of a pen, Mayor Nagin and Police Superintendent Compass are getting away
with "murder"—a savaging of the second, fourth and fourteenth amendments of our
Constitution. And they have put America on notice that they're going to keep seizing lawfully
owned guns under any pretense.

New Orleans gun owners are showing up at these trailers, with serial numbers of their firearms,
expecting Mayor Nagin and his band of anti-gunners to respect the Federal courts.
They are met by stony-eyed bureaucrats who say serial numbers aren't enough—and that gun
owners now need PROOF OF PURCHASE of these firearms.
How many of those gun owners do you think had original receipts for those firearms? And even if
they did, how many do you think could find those receipts in the wreckage of a hurricane?
Many of these firearms were passed down from father to son, generation to generation. Some
are precious heirlooms. Some are collector's pieces won in our wars. And they were all lawfully
owned and they must be returned to their owners.

Ohh man I just finished watching Unthinkable with Samuel L. Jackson and Carrie-Anne
Moss, you need to watch this movie right fucking now!
Is a psychological thriller centered around a black-ops interrogator and an FBI agent
who press a suspect terrorist into divulging the location of three nuclear weapons
sets to detonate in the U.S.

I won't tell you any more, but for sure this movie will make you think and will create great
turmoil in the media by the themes depicted.

I'm watching the crash course from http://www.chrismartenson.com/crashcourse.
"The Crash Course seeks to provide you with a baseline understanding of the economy so that
you can better appreciate the risks that we all face"
Chapter 3 talks about exponential growth, as I talked about the population growth a few days ago I
think this short video is a nice complement to it.

The second video, chapter 4, shows in a really simple way why is soo important to understand
exponential growth because with it the action really only heats up in the last few moments.

scientists, even intercepted emails showing that the facts are being manipulated to support the
idea that climate change is product of CO2 emissions in order to create a new global tax, the
carbon tax.
The climate change issue is being used as an excuse to make more money, is clear to see it
analyzing the results from the last Copenhagen meeting, where they only agreed to lent money
to 3rd world countries "to stop CO2 emissions".

I just finished watching Collapse, basically it's a one hour interview to Michael Ruppert
in which he shows how dependent is our civilization on oil, how we are running out of it
drastically and what will happen and what you can do when the shit hits the fan.
He also analyzes the problems with the "alternative energies" and also shows that the lack of oil
isn't only a energetic issue because we use oil and oil derivatives in every fucking thing
constructed by any human being.
I really liked it and strongly recommend it, it will make you think...
